Gary Lanzen
Insurance Consultant
Following in his father’s footsteps, Gary entered the insurance business in 1978. He started his career in life insurance as an agent with the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York (MONY). Gary took over his father’s insurance business but later joined The Brooks & Stafford Company in 1990. Gary is licensed in life and health and property and casualty and holds designations as Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF).
Gary served on the board of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He has a great passion for giving back to the community. Gary is active in his church, has been an usher for the past 40 years, and most recently became a Church trustee. Gary coached his son’s soccer and basketball teams and has been the announcer at JV and Varsity soccer games since his son’s freshman year in high school. Gary enjoys every role – player, coach, manager, announcer or spectator in his favorite sports of football, soccer, baseball, basketball and track.
Gary is devoted to creating long-term relationships especially in ties to the community. He also travels with his best friend and wife of 52 years, Betsy. In any remaining downtime, you will find Gary with Betsy, their son and two grandchildren.
